Can I get a prescription?
Direct Health allows your doctor to prescribe non-controlled medication to your local retail pharmacy.*
Just a quick reminder: you must have your profile completed in order to receive a prescription. If you’re unsure if you’ve done this or would like to update it, tap Profile then View Profile at the top of the list. You’ll be able to enter your name, date of birth, sex, and address. At the bottom, you’ll see an option for Pharmacy, where you can enter or edit your desired pharmacy. At present, the Direct Health app only supports retail pharmacies with a physical location.
*If they believe a prescription is medically necessary and clinically appropriate, they can send one to the local pharmacy as listed on your Direct Health profile. No medication is ever provided simply upon request.
